MOMMA AND BABY SHOWER

Having spend nearly a year in 3 different NICU/PICU’s with our son Mattie, I know full well the tole that having a medically fragile child can have on a family. One of my sweet families has adopted a precious little guy who is waiting on a very serious heart surgery (possibly a series of up to three surgeries in the next 3 months) to correct a very rare heart disorder. His adoptive Momma, Sylvia is miles away from family and friends.

She is rejoicing in the miracle of this little guy and is head over heals in love. Who wouldn’t be?

 

I wanted to give everyone the opportunity to put actions to LOVE, feet to the GOSPEL, and support Sylvia by showering her with cards, words of encouragement, and even care boxes.

Sylvia’s husband is at home with their other EIGHT children, 7 of them adopted with special needs. Yes! You heard me right, this family is amazing!

Sylvia’s need include:

Snacks and Microwavable Meals (Like Mac-n-cheese). It’s difficult for her to leave the RMH to get to the store. (I would think things like dried fruit, nuts, etc would be great to have around too)

Size 2 or 3 diapers and wipes

Baby Wash and Lotion (Burt’s Bee’s is my personal favorite!)

3-6 month clothing for William (He has a G-tube, so  his need is for long sleeved, long legged one piece outfits with snaps, NOT ZIPPERS)

Baby socks

Good medical tape for his nasal canula that won’t hurt his face
