Kansas City Adoptive Family Picnic

October 31, 2012

It happened again. I was blessed to gather with over a dozen adoptive families at my home on a beautiful fall afternoon earlier this month.

Nothing sweeter than this!

This little peanut didn’t stop smiling all day! (Neither did I for that matter!)

So blessed that Dave and Amy made the 8 hour drive to join us! Love meeting my families face to face!

Little man Elvis, lives near by so I get to squeeze this baby from time to time!

This big guy celebrated his 3rd birthday the day of our picnic! Happy Birthday!

Making new friends!

These two were a little nervous about being in the picture but once they snuggled up and got to know each other, they were both quite happy!

Two adoptions later, it was so fun to see this sweet family again!

Marveling at the miracle of God’s hand on each little life.

Dear friends! I love this family so much!

Virtual friends meet in real life! So fun!

One of the most precious miracles! God is so faithful!

This sweet couple flew in from across the country, they had just been matched and their birth mom lived nearby. They came to meet us and then drove on to meet her the following day!

Sweet friendship!

This little man was one of my firsts. A tiny miracle the size of a little burrito, is now a healthy, handsome red-headed wonder!

Kristi and her husband Steven were one of my very first couples (maybe the first!). Their daughter just celebrated her 4th birthday, and they are in the process of their 2nd adoption now.

It was a beautiful day for making new friends and rejoicing in the miracles all around us!
